Galon "Allen" Angell, 44, died Monday, May 2, 1994 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, of cancer.
He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on January 24, 1950, the son of Sanford and Hazel Nelson Angell. He married Nancy Adamson, on April 8, 1983 in Farmington, Utah. He was a Viet Nam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army Airborne.He was the maintenance supervisor at Nelson & Sons Feed Manufacturing Company.
From his present marriage he is survived by his wife, Nancy Adamson Angell; one daughter, Stacey Hazel Angell; one son, Phillip Nelson Angell; one stepson , Richard William Wiseman; and from a previous marriage, two daughters, Anna Marie Rudelich and Rachel Franzen, all of Salt Lake City. Also surviving are his mother, Hazel Nelson Angell, Layton; three brothers, Jack S. Angell, Huber Heights, Ohio; Basel L. Angell, Seattle, Washington; Dennis N. Angell, Kaysville; four sisters, Doris Angell, Kennewick, Washington; Dalene Swenson, Salmon, Idaho; Vala Loertscher, Salt Lake City, Utah; Sandra Gibson, Layton. He was preceded in death by his father, Sanford Angell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, at 11 a.m., at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah. Friends may call Wednesday, May 4th, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by VFW.
