Phoebe L. Turner, 90, died Monday afternoon, May 23, 1994 in Sedalia, Missouri.
She was born August 27, 1903 in England, daughter of William and Phoebe Ann Stephenson Lowther. On January 5, 1923, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she married Richard Q. Turner, who died in 1973. Mrs. Turner was raised and educated in Salt Lake City, moving to Sedalia in 1989. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in Salt Lake City, performing with the Singing Mothers Choir.Survivors include five daughters, Muriel Harrold, Escondido, California; Helen DuBose, Alturas, California; Betty Borchardt, Sedalia, Missouri; Carol Gary, Logan, Utah; Marjorie Campbell, San Diego, California; 25 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sons; Clifton (Bud) and Bert.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 1994 at 1 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Rest Haven Section). Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, prior to services.
