An application for a conditional use permit from Box Elder County to allow the building of a private recreational campground adjacent to Willard Bay in South Willard was recently rescinded by property owner Keith Jones.

The proposed campground had met with extensive opposition from neighboring farmers worried about the impact on their land and operations.Jones stated health and financial problems as the reason for his action.
