Scott Shuell Wolfer, age 22, died June 16, 1994 while patiently waiting 31/2 years for a heart/lung transplant.

Scott was born June 12, 1972 to Monte Duane and Linda C. Wolfer in Salt Lake City, Utah.He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Rex Lewis; father and stepmother, Monte and Catherine Wolfer; brother, Michael (Denise) Wolfer, Centerville; sister, Stephanie (Tony) Rossello, Grand Blanc, Mich.; stepsister, Suzie Wolfer, Tulsa, Okla.; grandmother, Teresa Martin, Portland, Ore.; stepbrothers, Clint and Jeff Lewis; stepsister, Shaela Lewis. He also left behind three nieces, Brittany, Danielle, Ashley Lynn; loving aunt, Susan; aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends.

Scott was a very intelligent and patient person. He was a certified phlebotomist and EMT. He attended Salt Lake Community College. He performed in many plays at Bountiful High School and Pages Lane Theater. He was a very gifted writer, actor and performer. His greatest dream was to be accepted by the American Academy of Performing Arts in Pasadena, California. That dream became a reality last summer after interviewing and performing a theatrical piece. He will be greatly missed by all those who shared in his life.

Scott and his family would like to express their love and gratitude for all the doctors, nurses and transplant coordinators at the University of Utah Medical Center. Please give the most precious "gift of life" - become an organ donor so that people who are waiting will have a chance for life.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Crosspointe Ward, 1325 West 5550 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, and Wednesday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the ward.

Interment, Coalville City Cemetery.
