Charus "Chuck" Rackham, Sr., 63, died Thursday, June 23, 1994 in Draper.

He was born September 22, 1931 in Ogden, a son of Clarence and Beatrice Stephens Rackham. He married Tsuyako Sato on January 6, 1959 in Naha, Okinawa. She died February 2, 1985. He moved home to Ogden in 1969, after serving a 20 year military career. He attended Weber State University studying microbiology. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army.Surviving are one son and one daughter, Charus R. Rackham II, of Magna; Trudy C. Rackham of Roy; three grandchildren, Jared S. Rackham, Katelin Rackham and Lianna T. Rackham.

Also surviving are one brother, three sisters, LaMar Rackham, Charlb Twitchell, and Carol Russell, all of Ogden; Barbara Leavitt, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside Monday at 11 a.m., at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, where military honors will be accorded. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Sunday

6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
