Dolores Lowry Middleton, age 83, died Monday, July 18, 1994 at her home in Salt Lake City.
She was born on December 21, 1910 at Carey, Idaho to John Hyrum and Minnie Taylor Lowry. Married Dr. Anthony Wayne Middleton, Sr., in New York City on April 6, 1935; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active in the LDS Church and former elementary school teacher. Active in and president of the Salt Lake County and Utah State Medical Auxiliaries. Member of Author's Club and member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, University of Utah.Survived by her husband; two sons, Dr. Anthony Wayne (wife, Carol) Middleton, Jr., and Dr. George William (wife, Wendy) Middleton, 12 grandchildren, all of Salt Lake City area; and a brother, Earl Neville Lowry, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Preceded in death by two brothers, Hyrum Deronda and James Elvin Lowry, and one sister, LaDell Woolley.
Funeral services Saturday, July 23, at 12 noon, Ensign 3rd Ward Chapel, 9th Avenue & K Street. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward Saturday, 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. Burial will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
