LeeAnn Mahoney, age 23, died July 20, 1994 at the University of Utah Hospital due to complications from cystic fibrosis.
Born November 13, 1970 in Salt Lake City to Duane K. and Joyce A. Mahoney. A member of the LDS Church, Hidden Cove Ward. She is also a co-author of "Life On Borrowed Time."Survived by her parents, Duane and Jenny Mahoney of South Jordan; Joyce and Harry Halterman of Salt Lake; sisters, Carla Rae and Traci Lynn Mahoney of Salt Lake; stepsisters, Penalope Capps and Karen Holt of Texas; stepbrothers, Aaron Allred of Salt Lake; and Harry Eugene Halterman of Tucson, Arizona; grandparents, Denton and Dorothy Mahoney of Heber City; Norman and Carol Wood of Woodburn, Oregon; Charlene and Emil Soderquist of Ogden; and Irma Halterman of Phoenix, Ariz. Also survived by great-grandmother, Nina Hust of Salt Lake.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hidden Cove Ward, 1988 West 11400 So., South Jordan. Viewing will be Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 So., West Jordan, and Tuesday from 1-1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment at South Jordan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.
