Warning, warning. The movie "Forest Gump" may be dangerous to our moral/spiritual health. Well, Hollywood has done it again. What could have proved to be a good movie (can't say for sure we left) was trashed by the writers and directors, again.
If I were a care-giver or parent of a mentally disabled person I would be sorely offended by the offenses perpetrated against the young man in the movie. Time after time efforts were made to strip him of his innocence. But, with an IQ of 75, every effort failed, that is a given. So they took a tale of innocence and filled it with vulgarity, nudity, profanity, sex, and violence, and anyone with an IQ over 75 wonders why. The real story would fly without all of this garbage.
This movie is receiving a four-star billing, but the rating is false and an R rating is in order. To protect your innocence and that of those in your family - reject this movie and go see the "The Lion King" twice.
