Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Harlow Stayner Lees, age 59, passed away July 22, 1994 at his home in Salt Lake City.

Harlow was born July 25, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Frank Earl and Marguerite Stayner Lees. He married Linda Kuhre on April 13, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A graduate of South High School and the University of Utah. Worked for many years as a purchasing agent at Great Western Chemical. Retried member of the Utah National Guard 144th EVAC Hospital. Active member of the LDS Church. Harlow was a high priest and served as a ward clerk for many years. He loved to hunt, fish, and explore the great outdoors. He possessed a fantastic memory which made him a master story teller. Harlow was a kind and loving individual who was respected and admired by all who knew him.Survivors include his wife, Linda of Salt Lake City; one son and two daughters, Mark J. Lees, Provo; Tracey (husband Roy) Bean, Provo; Karen (husband Tim) Newell, Salt Lake; two grandchildren, Victoria and Samuel; one brother, Darwin S. Lees, Salt Lake; one sister, Norma Rae (husband Melvin) Arrington, Provo.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 27, 1994 at 1 p.m. at the Winder 2nd Ward Chapel, 1361 East 4000 South. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
