Grace H Hill Dodd, 70, died July 26, 194 at her home from acute leukemia.

She was born October 31, 1923 in Salt Lake City, the only daughter of Jonathan and Edith White Hill. She married Jacob (Jay) Garfield Dodd, June 10, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was reared and educated in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from Davis High School.She was always helping others and had a beautiful smile. Her love will shine for all who knew her.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions in Mutual and Relief Society. The last 14 years she served as a temple ordinance worker in the baptistry.

Her hobbies were sewing, painting and decorating. She had her own business "Grace's Custom Window Decor". She belonged to the Lomand Literary Club, the Fedelis Club and Camp Silver Sage of the DUP.

She is survived by five daughters and one son, Shonny (John) Russell, Bountiful; Mickey (Roy) Hutchinson, Layton; Darla (Doug) Cutler, Island Park, Idaho; Jaylene (Brent) Hadley, Layton; and Diane Cracker, Pleasantview; and son, Brent Jay Dodd, Park City.

Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. She loved her 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Sherry Lee and her husband, died December 3, 1993.

Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant View 4th Ward, 896 West Pleasant View Drive, 11 a.m. Friday; with Bishop Brent Nay officiating. Friends may call at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
