Weber State women's basketball coach Carla Taylor recently announced the addition of Cindy Fisher as a new full-time women's basketball assistant coach. Fisher replaces Anne Handy-Jones who resigned her part-time position at the end of June to stay home with her two small children. Fisher assumed her official duties at Weber State on July 1.
"Cindy's main responsibilities will be to assist in recruiting, scouting, scheduling and oversee the academic progress of our players," Coach Taylor said.Fisher comes to Weber State from Mesa Community College in Arizona where she spent last year as an assistant basketball coach and physical education instructor. She spent a previous stint at Mesa CC from 1988 to 1990 in a similar position before moving to Illinois State University.
