SHARE FATHER AND SON IN ENGINEERING WIN U. AWARDS

A Salt Lake father and son were recently recognized with two awards from the University of Utah.

Thomas M. Isaacson, who earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, was named College of Engineering Outstanding Graduating Senior Student Leader for the 1993-94 academic year.His father, Dr. L. King Isaacson, a professor of mechanical engineering, won the university's Distinguished Teaching Award this year.

The younger Isaacson is past-president of the U. student chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He plans to enroll in the Brigham Young University law school in the fall.
