Men's golf team 16th at Tucker Invitational
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - After two days of competition in the William H. Tucker Invitational Tournament, the BYU men's golf team came away with a 16th-place finish. Freshman Will Huish was BYU's top scorer of the tournament with a 72-77-76 for a 245 total. Senior Brodie Berg - yesterday's leader among BYU golfers after two rounds - shot a 75-73-78 for a 226 total. Freshmen Ryan Oldroyd, with a 233 total (81-76-76), and Eduardo Dehoyos, with a 82-78-72, 237 total, gained needed experience in the tournament.

Cross country teams take 3rd at CSI Invitational
Utah State's men's and women's cross country teams finished third in team races at the College of Southern Idaho Invitational.
The Aggie women finished with 55 points, 20 points back of first-place Boise State and 16 points back of second-place Weber State in the NCAA Division 1 race. No results available for the College of Southern Idaho or for Utah Valley State College.
Lora Heyl lead the team for the second-straight week. Her sixth-place time in the 5K was 19:14. The rest of the Aggie team: 7) Jeanna Bair (19:16), 10) Colleen Walsh (19:21), 15) Janeen Jensen (19:55), 17 Windy Hutchings (20:51), and 18) Lisa Hart (21:06).
The men's team also finished third, with 68 points, well behind Weber's State's winning total of 26. Boise State placed second with 44 points.
Once again it was freshman Frank Torres leading the Aggie pack. Torres finished sixth with a time of 25:35 on th 8K course (5 mile). Mike Davidson was 12th (26:00), J'Dee Wilson 13th (26:06), Toby Conley 17th (26:40), Mike Anderson 20th (26:40), and John Louviere 22nd (27:55).
Weber State
Weber State cross country teams finish 1st
Weber State's men's cross country team won its first meet of the season, capturing the College of Southern Idaho Invitational, Saturday in Twin Falls, Idaho. The Wildcats placed four runners in the top 10, led by Chris Jones (2nd 25:13) and Matt Harmer (3rd-25:17). The Wildcats had 32 points, followed by Boise State (44) and Utah State (53).
On the women's side Boise State edged Weber State, 35-39. Utah State was third (55). WSU freshman Suzy Clark, running in her first collegiate meet, placed second (19:00). Molly Fugal (Soph.) was fifth (19:11).
Men's golf team 19th at Tucker Invitational
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Weber State's men's golf team placed 19th in the 40th annual Tucker Invitational with a three-day total of 929. The Wildcats' top place finisher was Chris Dyson who had rounds of 81-76-73 for a total of 230. Weber State's next action comes in the University of Washington Husky Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Seattle.
