Boxer-actor Randall "Tex" Cobb has sued Sports Illustrated for $150 million over a 1993 story alleging one of his fights was fixed.

The libel lawsuit stems from an Oct. 4, 1993, article titled "The Fix Was In."The story, written by William Nack and Sonja Steptoe, alleged that a 1992 fight between Cobb and Arkansas boxer Sonny Barch. was fixed. The story reported Cobb met with Barch before the match to discuss how quickly the bout would end. Cobb, now 40, won by a knockout in the first round.
