Lila LeBaron Peterson, 76, of Santaquin, Utah, passed away on December 29, 1994 in the Mountain View Hospital at Payson, Utah.

Lila was born March 30, 1918 in Santaquin, Utah, a daughter of David R. and Hazel Bennett LeBaron. Lila graduated from Payson High School, where she achieved academic excellence. She married Darvel Peterson, August 15, 1938 at Provo, Utah.She took great pride in her family and was an excellent homemaker. Her love, and the sense of humor that set her apart will be greatly missed. She was a member of the LDS Church and earlier in her life was active in the American Red Cross, Cancer Society, and Literary Club.

Survived by her husband, Darvel, of Santaquin; son, Gary (Trudy) Peterson, Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandson, Scott, of Denver, Colorado; and Cash, of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Clinton (Evelyn) LeBaron, Provo; Allen (Joan) LeBaron, St. George; William "Bill" (Dorthella) LeBaron, Pleasant Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Gordon T. (Arlene) Heelis, Santaquin; Mrs. Relia Gilmore, Payson; Mrs. Boyd (Janet) Carter, Spanish Fork. Preceded in death by a grandson, Gregg and a brother, Elvin.

Funeral services will be conducted at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 So. 300 East, Santaquin, Utah, on Tuesday, January 3, 1995, 12 noon. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Santaquin City Cemetery.
