ASSE International Student Exchange Programs is seeking local host families for boys and girls from Scandinavia, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Britain, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and the former Soviet Union. The students are 15 to 18 years of age and will be in Utah for the coming high school year.

Families may select the youngster of their choice from student applications, family photos and biographical essays. Students and families are encouraged to begin corresponding prior to the student's arrival.

ASSE, which stands for American Scandinavian Student Exchange, the group's former name, is also seeking local high school students to become exchange students abroad. Students should be between 15 and 18 years old and interested in living with a host family and attending school. The students have the option of learning about the lands and people of Scandinavia, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Britain, Brazil, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Canada (English or French speaking), Mexico, Japan, Austria or New Zealand.
