Elva Lindsay Jensen, 87, died January 21, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born July 31, 1907 in Thornton, Idaho to James Reid and Annette Olson Lindsay. Married Leonard Emmett Jensen on June 1, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah.Lifelong resident of Salt Lake City and longtime resident of Poplar Grove. She was a member of the LDS Church and belonged to the Poplar Grove First Ward in the Pioneer Stake. She was educated in the Salt Lake City schools and graduated from Salt Lake High School. She attended the University of Utah and graduated with a teaching certificate.

She was a homemaker and the mother of three boys, David, Dean and Larry. She is the grandmother of 13 and has numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband and son, David. Surviving sons are Dean G. Jensen, Salt Lake; and Larry N. Jensen, of North Logan, Utah.

Memorial services will be held on January 24, 1995 at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. Friends may call prior to services at 1 p.m. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with interment at Redwood Memorial Estates immediately following.
