The Salt Shakers, official goodwill ambassadors of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, will celebrate their 30th anniversary during a reception and banquet at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Salt Lake Country Club.

Consisting of 68 business leaders, the group organizes business trade missions to neighboring states, greets business officials from other states and participates in groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings.During the banquet Gary Juhlin will be installed as head shaker. He will be assisted by Ron Lewis, vice head shaker; John Taft, salty scribe; Tim Foley, past head shaker; Troy Roper, salty spreader; and Linda Johansen-Palmer, salty dog.
