Doug Robinson, award-winning columnist and feature writer, is off to Miami to provide columns and insights for the Deseret News on the upcoming Super Bowl between San Francisco and San Diego.
Robinson covered Brigham Young University in the early '80s, teams that featured two Cougars now playing for the 49ers - the NFL's MVP, quarterback Steve Young, and center Bart Oates.The Chargers also have a Utah connection, tight end Alfred Pupunu, who prepped at South High and then went to Weber State.
Robinson's columns will begin Wednesday and continue through Monday.
