In its meeting Tuesday, Jan. 10, the Highland City Council will consider:

- A request by several residents to opt out of the city's new automated refuse collection service.

- Allocating $10,000 to upgrade the city's computer system and buy a laptop computer.

- Options for bulk waste collection services such as free passes to the landfill during spring or fall clean-up programs.

- Renewing a maintenance agreement with Highland Water Co.

- Reappointing Jim Huggard, Art Chidester and Dave Taylor to the Planning Commission.

Council meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Highland City Building, 5378 W. 10400 North.

American Fork

In its meeting Tuesday, Jan. 10, the American Fork City Council will:

- Discuss the annual city financial audit.

- Hear a report on the Tri-City Golf Course.

- Consider a site plan for a new Tri-City Ford dealership at 650 E. 1100 South.
