Police Chief Mike Openshaw said the investigation is not yet complete, so the determination has not been made except to acknowledge the wound was self-inflicted.Jacob Hiatt, 12, died Friday, Oct. 20, from a .22-caliber slug in his chest. He was the son of Linda and Kevin Hiatt of Payson and a seventh-grader at Payson Middle School.
