Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Ann N. Labrum, age 78, died October 26, 1995 at Sunshine Terrace in Logan.
Born Dec. 5, 1916 in Bennion, Utah, daughter of Walter E. and Ruby Palmer Nichols. Married Ivan Boyce Labrum, Sept. 19, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Ann's early years were spent in Bennion and she worked for the Granite School District for many years. She and her husband later moved to Lewiston. Together they served a mission in the Greensboro North Carolina Mission from 1985-1986 and served as ordinance workers in the Logan LDS Temple. Following the death of her husband, Ann moved to West Jordan, where she served as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple. She served in the Young Womens, Relief Society, Primary and as a visiting teacher for over 40 years. Her life was filled with sacrifice for others and she enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family. She also loved music and served as a ward organist for several years.
Survivors: six sons and two daughters, Duane (Kaye) Labrum, Glensferry, Idaho; Ross (Linda) Labrum, Richmond, Utah; Ivan Lee (Janet) Labrum, West Valley; Garth (Lori) Labrum, Orangeville, Utah; Michael Nichols, Las Vegas, Nevada; Kenneth (Meggan) Nichols, Layton; LuAnn (Michael) Tomsick, West Jordan; Mary Kay (Cleve) Gibbons, Lewiston; brother, Rulon Nichols, West Valley; sisters, Elsie Player and Lois Nichols, both of Bennion; and Mary (Mervin) Sharp, Preston, Idaho. Also survived by 33 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Boyce Labrum and granddaughter, Jeri Lynn Labrum.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 30, 10 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Lewiston City Cemetery. A brief graveside service will be held at the Lewiston City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
