Visendus Inc., a Provo company producing and marketing business-training seminars that are transmitted live via satellite, will have a preview Nov. 30 of a series of full-day business training seminars, according to David A. McDougal, chairman and chief executive officer.
Some of the most highly respected seminar presenters will make presentations to a live audience in a Bonneville International studio that day so people can see how the system works. The presenters include Warren Bennis, Marshall Goldsmith, Roosevelt Thomas, Don Hutson, Patricia Fripp and Denis Waitley. The seminars will be carried simultaneously by satellite to audiences in theaters and other locations and will be shown on large theater-size screens. People at each location will have the chance to talk with and see the presenters.
"We have long wanted to bring this high-quality training to the business people in America. By bringing seminars to multiple cities simultaneously by satellite, the cost is dramatically reduced and companies will be able to effectively train more of their employees," said McDougal.
Beginning in January, the seminars will cover management, sales skills, motivation, support staff and the Internet.
