Theo Wilcox Perkins, 67, died October 29, 1995 at his home in West Jordan.
Born September 30, 1928 in Wheelon, Utah, son of James Christopher and Ella Althea Wilcox Perkins. Married Dorothy Petersen, September 10, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Theo was raised in Smithfield, Utah where he graduated from North Cache High School and then attended Utah State University. He was a Faithful member of the LDS Church where he loved working with the youth and served as Scout Master for 20 years. Also served in two bishoprics. Worked for Mountain Bell for 38 years and was a manager of the Roosevelt office for 12 years. Member of Kiwanis Club and the Roosevelt Chamber of Commerce.Survived by wife, Dorothy, West Jordan; daughters, Ann Perkins Snow, Orem; Joan Perkins Baldwin, Paradise, Utah; son, Clayton Theo Perkins, Draper; 11 grandchildren; brother, Dan Perkins, Malad, Idaho; sisters, Laudean Lamb, Provo. Preceded in death by brothers, Bion W., Joe W. and Wendell Perkins; twin sisters, Leda and Letha; and parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the West Jordan 8th Ward, 2700 West 7000 So. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, 3 p.m. at the Preston City Cemetery, Preston, Idaho.
