Leslie Larsen, the age of 54, and a resident of Riverton, Wyoming was born March 20, 1941 passed away the morning of November 5, 1995 at Riverton Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Larsen was born and raised in Utah. He moved to Riverton upon his graduation from Tintic High School, Eureka, Utah, and worked in the uranium mines for two years after which he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, he returned to Riverton, Wyoming and joined with his brothers and father in establishing U.S. Energy Corp. He served as a director and officer of that company until health problems caused him to reduce his work load.Les was well known by his many friends for his warm loving nature, his continuing smile, whistle and outburst of song, as well as his ability as a driller, mechanic and his superior craftsmanship as a carpenter.

Les will be sorely missed by the many friends and acquaintances that he has been close to and helped. His generosity with his time and labor set him apart as a community leader. Les was an active member of the LDS Church.

Les was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Dean, Max and Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Deann; brother, Jack and sisters, Marian, Glynis, Lola, Carol, Lois Ann and children, Danny, Sean, Mike, Kim Denise, Jim, Kyle, Kenli and Karli; numerous nieces and nephews and 15 grandchildren.

There will be a viewing for friends and relatives at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton, Tuesday, Nov. 7th, from 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the LDS Chapel located at 4th and Elizabeth, Riverton, Wyoming.
