Country singer Doug Stone had a mild heart attack in a restaurant and will be hospitalized for a few days.
Stone, 38, fell ill Thursday at an airport restaurant in Charlotte, N.C., and was taken to a hospital, said his spokeswoman, Dixie Pineda.He was listed in serious but stable condition and is expected to remain in the hospital about five days. Stone had quadruple bypass surgery three years ago.
Stone's hits include "I'd Be Better Off in a Pine Box," "A Jukebox With a Country Song" and "Why Didn't I Think of That."
