Thomas Bernard Hayes, 77 years, passed away December 20, 1995.
Born September 22, 1918 to Thomas and Elizabeth Wagner Hayes in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Gussie Holmes, November 8, 1947 in Salt Lake City.Served in the US Army during World War II, and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was a plasterer by trade. He loved fishing and hunting trips with his family, and enjoyed his garden and flowers.
Survived by children, Mrs. Jessie (Diane) Overman, Mrs. Wayne (Dariene) Clausing, James F. (Sherry) Hayes, all Salt Lake City; and Tom M. Hayes, Fruita, Colorado; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Gussie, on December 11, 1988.
A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1995, 9:30 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 3580 W. 3650 So. A Funeral Mass will follow immediately afterward. Friends may call Tuesday at the church, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Committal: Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary.
