Noal Davis Despain, age 80, died February 13, 1995 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born April 17, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Douglas Clawson and Eleanora Davis Despain. Married Phyllis Adamson, March 21, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Active in numerous LDS Church capacities including bishop of Park City 1st Ward, 1950. He served three missions, Canada-Toronto, Eastern States, and Colorado-Denver. He was an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple serving with great love and devotion. His greatest love was for his children and grandchildren.

Survived by wife, Phyllis; six sons, Noal Douglas Despain, San Diego, Calif.; Bruce Davis (Mary) Despain, Salt Lake City; Burke Adamson (Gail) Despain, Indianapolis, Indiana; Keith Leo (Darlene) Despain, West Valley City, Utah; Lee Dennis (Rosalie) Despain, Bountiful, Utah; and Wayne Kent (Cheryl) Despain, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Sandra (David) Loertscher, Castle Rock, Colorato; and Ardith D. (John) Knudson, Wanship, Utah; 39 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, D. Calvert Despain, Oceanside, Calif.; R. Wendell Despain, Salt Lake City; and Gordon Despain, Kent, Wash.; one sister, Lola Richardson, Orem, Utah.

Funeral services Thursday, February 16th, at 12 Noon, 18th North Ward Chapel, 2nd Avenue and A Street, where friends may call Thursday 10:45 - 11:45 prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens under direction of Larkin Mortuary.
