Gordon Lee Tomlinson, a 20-year resident of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully in Taos, New Mexico on February 10, 1995 in the company of his wife and children.

Lee was born in Fort Worth, Texas August 11, 1916. He graduated from Texas Christian university and served in the U.S. Army from 1941 through 1947.He married Eileen McSweeny May 29, 1945. He was an officer in South Western Petroleum Corporation of Forth Worth for 22 years. From 1972 until 1992, Lee was vice president and area communications coordinator for Weight Watchers of Salt Lake City, Inc.

While in Salt Lake City, Lee was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and an active member and past president of the St. Vincent golf club. He also played in the St. Vincent Bridge Club.

He is survived by his brother, D.F. Tomlinson of Granbury, Texas; his wife; a son, Ron Tomlinson of Ft. Worth; daughters, Cathleen Tomlinson, and Elyse Lorei, both of Taos, N.M.; and five grandchildren.

A funeral services was held in Taos, New Mexico, on February 13, 1995. Final interment will be in Fort Worth, Texas. A memorial service will be held in Salt Lake City in the future.
