LaToya Jackson's premature adieu caused much ado at the Moulin Rouge - $550,000 worth.

The entertainer was ordered to pay that much to the Paris nightclub because she abruptly ended a 1993 performance run with several months left on her contract.Jackson had asked a New York Supreme Court justice to delay enforcement of the French court's judgment while she appealed, but the judge said Jackson's 90-day appeal period had expired.

"She stopped performing after a few days, after an investment of more than $1 million," said Francois Chateau, one of the club's New York lawyers.
