A pair of female Nile hippos, Liberty, left, and Labor Day, nap after refusing to climb aboard a trailer scheduled to take them from the Houston Zoo to their new home at the Kansas City Zoo. Their new digs in Kansas City will be larger than their current home and have a more natural habitat. The Kansas City exhibit will feature a replica of the Nile River. Since zoo workers began trying to move them Tuesday, the stubborn duo have resisted all bribes. Workers have given up on moving the 2-ton hippos for now, and the trailer will become part of the "Hippo House" exhibit in Houston until the two become accustomed to it.
