Eleonora M. Flink, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 1995 at her home due to complications of Lupus.
She was born September 15, 1921 in Vlaardingen, Netherlands, Z. Holland, a daughter of Gerardus Tames Riebeek and Pietertje T'Hart. She married Adrianus J. Flink, August 17, 1945 in Schoonhoven, Holland. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She worked by profession as a midwife and also an R.N. Nurse. She was active in the LDS Church having served a mission to the Netherlands. She also served as a genealogy researcher and a Sunday School teacher. She dedicated her life to home and family. She loved children, and she always gave of herself. She will be missed and remembered by all.She is survived by her husband of Layton; four sons, Hans and wife, Gayle Flink, Ogden; Edward Flink, Layton; Daniel and wife, Debra Flink, Sandy; Robert and wife, Jackie Flink, Murray; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Spencer, Orem; Mrs. William (Donna) Rietvelt, Murray; Deann Flink, Layton; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brother, Fred Riebeek, Richmond, Utah; Aire Vantielen, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by a son Adrian, one sister, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 1995 at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Road with Bishop Brent Ellis officiating. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
