Stanley R. Judd, 84, died March 19, 1995, in Price.
He was born March 22, 1910, in Orangeville, Utah to David H. and Hettie M. Robertson Judd. Married Elva Jane Bailey July 29, 1933, in Price; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died in 1975. He later married Carol Booth January 15, 1976, in the Provo LDS Temple.As an active member of the LDS Church, he served in numerous callings including bishop, member of the stake presidency, and as stake Patriarch. He worked in the coal mines since he was 12 years old, a total of 73 years. His annual gardening was his summer project, sharing everything with his neighbors. He cherished outings with his family. Above all, he loved children, his own and others.
His is survived by his wife, Carol of Spring Glen; three daughters and spouses, Joyce and Keith Jones, Charlotte and Dennis Greener, all of Washington; Marilyn and Verdon Manwaring of Vernal; stepsons and spouses, Jack and Lois Booth of West Valley, Gary and Sharra Booth of Springville. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob Judd of Price, Tom Judd of Price, Garner Judd of Calif.; sister, Betty George of Layton.
Preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 1995, at 11 a.m. in the Spring Glen LDS Chapel. Friends may call at Fausett Mortuary in Price Tuesday from 7-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ferron City Cemetery.
