Eimco Process Equipment Co., 669 W. 200 South, has acquired Pyramid Resources, 328 W. 200 South, a company that pioneered column cell flotation technology and intelligent control systems for minerals processing.
The acquisition is expected to have a big impact because together they can offer minerals producers a comprehensive range of separation technologies, customized control systems for plantwide process optimization and worldwide sales and service support.Eimco, a Baker Hughes company, designs and manufactures separation equipment for minerals processing with lines that include Wemco 1+1 mechanical induced air flotations cells, Eimco high-rate thickeners and vacuum and pressure filters.
Pyramid Resources was founded in 1991 to market proprietary column cell flotation technology incorporating expert control systems.
