Our beautiful beloved daughter, sister, and niece, Mary Nicole Zurcher, 19, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday afternoon, March 16, 1995 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident in southern Nevada.

Mary had a beautiful smile that brightened our hearts and warmed our home. She taught us all how to laugh and always said, "Life is only worth living if you can have some fun along the way."Mary was born in Orange, California on December 22, 1975 and moved to Vacaville, California with her family when she was 13 mos. old Mary graduated from Vacaville High School in June of 1994. She loved sports from an early age. She lettered four years on the varsity tennis team and was the captain her senior year. She played basketball for four years at Vaca High and was on the varsity team her junior and senior years. She was a homecoming Princess during her senior year. Mary also attended Skyline High School in Salt Lake City for part of her junior year and was on the varsity basketball team while there. She cherished the many wonderful friends that she made at Skyline and continued those friendships. She was attending Dixie College in St. George, Utah at the time of her death.

Mary was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before leaving for college she attended the Vacaville First Ward where she served as a leader in her youth groups.

She was the eldest child of Bill and Cheryl Zurcher of Vacaville, Calif. She was idolized and loved by her six brothers and sisters. She is survived by brothers, Briton , BYU, Provo; Daniel and Jacob sisters, Emily , Megan and Kate her grandparents, Dallis and June Christensen of Holladay; Mary Eldredge Zurcher of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clarence E. Zurcher. She is survived by 14 aunts and uncles and 27 cousins.

Funeral services will be held in Vacaville, Calif. on Wednesday, March 22, 1995.

Memorial services for Mary Nicole Zurcher will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 24, 1995 at the Holladay 25th Ward, 4650 E. Naniloa Dr. (2850 East). There will be a visitation period from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services at the same location. Mary will be buried at the Holladay Memorial Park beside her two cousins, David and Elizabeth Seely, who preceded her in death.
