Blue Denny Samples, age 20, died March 24, 1995 from injuries received in a coal mining accident.
He was born April 24, 1974 in Price, Utah, son of Denny L. and Maxine Lindsey Samples. Married Amy Nicole Hansen, July 10, 1993 in Price, Utah. Graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1992. Served U.S. Army. Blue enjoyed wrestling, hunting, racing cars and especially riding bulls. He will be dearly missed by his family and a community of friends.Survived by his wife, Amy Samples, Carbonville; son, Colten J. Samples, Carbonville; parents, Denny and Maxine Samples, Price; parents, Ryan and Dorothy Hansen, Price; four sisters and their spouses, Shelly and Larry McKinnon, Spring Glen; Sherry Samples, Price; Sheila Samples, Price; Callie and Michael Oberle, Richmond, Indiana; grandparents, Birdie Lindsey, Price; DeMar and Katie Hansen, Price; Nell Barnett, Price. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 28, 1995, 11 a.m. at Mitchell Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell's Monday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
