Mahina Feahoaki Fisiipeau Tutone, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away March 3, 1995 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born April 18, 1931 in Felemea Ha'apai, Tonga to Salote Faiva and Sione Fisiipeau. Married Tevita Tutone February 1952. She was blessed with the ability to warmly accept the love shown her. A very giving and loving mother. Member of the United Methodist Church.Survived by her husband, father, eight daughters and one son, Kasanita Tausinga (Tevita), Salt Lake City; Faulupe Ika (Sisilili), Tonga; Lisia Toto (Paula), Salt Lake City; Veilomani Fosita (Feao), Tonga; Taloata Salote Ata (Semisi), Salt Lake City; Mosese Tutone, Ilaisaane Tutone, and Lesieli Teaulilo (Lisiate), all Tonga; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Salelei Fisiipeau (Ana), Tonga; Sione Fisiipeau (Ilaisaane), and Henele Vaea Fisiipeau (Foli), all Salt Lake City; Ngavisi Fisiipeau, Tonga. Preceded in death by her mother and brother, Sateki Toalala Fisiipeau.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, 1995 at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services and on Friday 7-10 p.m. Interment will immediately follow services at the same location under the direction of Memorial Estates.
