June Christensen, 76, died April 20, 1995 in Price.
He was born June 11, 1918 in Thistle, Utah to Nels and Serepta Fletcher Christensen. He married Mary LaMon Jones May 17, 1941 in Elmo, Utah. This marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple May 17, 1956. Mr. Christensen enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, auto mechanics, traveling, and temple work. He was a good father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.Survivors are: his wife, of Price; sons and daughters, Collette (Dale) Van Wagoner, Paul (Linda) Christensen, Larry (Tresa) Christensen, all of Elmo; Ronald J. (Carol) Christensen, of Price; Laura (Brent) Croxford, of South Jordan; Junette (James) Boyden, of Nevada; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Roxcile Hardy, of Orem, Utah; and Winnie Clegg, of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Price 1st Ward Chapel. Viewing will be at Fausett Mortuary, Price, Sunday 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Cleveland, Utah Cemetery.
