Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Edith Mary Evans Stucki Koehler, age 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 23, 1995 in Salt Lake City.
Born December 28, 1914 to David Emlyn and Margaret Phoebe White Evans in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was later sealed to her mother'ssecond husband, John Homer Salmon. Married Golden A. Stucki October 4, 1933; divorced. Married Ernst Fredrich Willam Koehler June 29, 1984. She was an active member of the LDS Church and always exhibited Christ-like attributes. She worked many years at the LDS Church Genealogical Society. She then worked for the State of Utah until retirement as a microfilm technician.She is survived by two sons and spouses, Thomas E. and Tina M. Stucki, Richard E. and Pamela R. Stucki; five grandchildren, Robert, Jenny Lee, Joel, Jose Anthony, Andrew Herman; three great-grandsons, Evan Bradon Stucki, Jacob Ryan Stucki, Carson Rich Stucki; step-children, Claudia Saltys, Marilyn Buchanan; sister, Irene (Cecil) Johnson; brothers, John (Gail) Salmon, Orvil (Mary Jane) Salmon, Eugene (Betty) Salmon, Jerry (Ruth) Salmon, Dean (Sharon) Salmon, William Salmon. Preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Stucki; husband, Ernst Fredrich Willam Koehler; brothers, Glen Evans, Alvin Salmon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 26, 1995, at 11:00 a.m., at the Stratford East Ward, 2605 South 1500 East. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
