THE CLASS OF '95
Most memorable event: "Our Mother's High group made a presentation on the consequences of smoking and tobacco use at Orchard Elementary that included a slide show, a puppet show and Jeopardy. It was great to see how the elementary kids reacted to it." - Jenel Snyder.
What makes this class unique? "The coming together of so many groups. This is the first time we've consolidated all of our Adult High groups into one facility, and the students have handled it great. I've never been prouder of my students." - Principal Jennie Barber.
How will members of this class improve the community? "We can't improve the community or the world until we graduate from college. This is just the first step in our education. We've had to go through so much more than the traditional high school students, and we're still going to finish. We're stronger, and because of that we know what we can and can't do." - Myrna Bermudez. "They're so determined. Many of the students have jobs and children, and they've still chosen to complete school. Because of that they'll make great citizens." - Jennie Barber.
What fad of yours will children find funny about their parents? "Probably the way I used to wear my hair. Our hairstyles and clothing." - Jenel Snyder.
