Melba Hansen Oldroyd, 81, of Richfield, Utah died at her home on June 10, 1995.
She was born November 6, 1913 to Walter and Marth B. Ogden Hansen in Richfield, Utah.Melba married Alvin L. Oldroyd, April 3, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church, serving in the Primary and Sunday School. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Lady Auxillary and was employed at Manning Pharmacy as a sales clerk for many years.
She is survived by husband, Alvin, Richfield, Utah; son and daughter, Ronald and Ann Lyne Oldroyd, Richfield; Maralyn Lee Oldroyd, Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandchildren, one great-grandson, brother and sister, Melvin Hansen, Central Valley, Utah; Beth Buchanan, Richfield, Utah. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Deloy and Glen Hansen, a sister, Alta Christensen.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 1995, 1 p.m. at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Burial, Richfield City Cemetery.
