David Allen Sheppick, age 38, died June 9, 1995 at his residence in Dammeron Valley.
He was born April 16, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William David and Allene Christensen Sheppick. Married Lesa Durrant, December 28, 1978 in Cedar City, Utah.David grew up in Magna, Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church. He attended Magna Elementary and Brockbank Junior High School. He later received his GED graduation certificate and then attended Salt Lake Valley Technical College. He was the youngest Safeway Meat Dept. Manager ever hired when he started. David loved to ride and train horses. He was an avid fisherman, loved Dammeron Valley, had an adventurous spirit and would try anything. He was a great support to his wife, Lesa in running the Dammeron Valley Water Dept. David especially loved "cowboy boots" and collecting cowboy boots was one of his hobbies. David donated much of his time in behalf of the IWA Injured Workers Association, he had the unique ability to care for others and enjoyed helping in time of need. He was a loving husband and father.
Survived by wife, Lesa D. Sheppick, Dammeron Valley, Utah; children, Mario Jon Sheppick, Paul David Sheppick, both Salt Lake; Ronnie Allen Sheppick, Heather Sheppick, both Dammeron Valley, Utah; one grandchild, Skylor, parents, William and Allene Sheppick, Magna, Utah; grandmother, Grace Curtis, West Valley; brothers, Kevin Sheppick, Paul Sheppick, Mary Sheppick, Chad Sheppick, all West Valley City, Utah; Nathan Sheppick, Salt Lake.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 1995, 11 a.m. in the Veyo LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the Spilsbury-Desert Rose Memorial Chapel, 58 North 100 East, St. George, and Wednesday at the Veyo LDS Ward Chapel one hour prior to services. Interment, Veyo Cemetery.
