Wilbur George Webb, 83, returned to our Heavenly Father on June 29, 1995. After a bout with cancer our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away at 12:55 p.m. in Salt Lake City.

He was born January 24, 1912 in Hinckley, Utah to George Alfred Webb and Zina Isadora Morris. He was married to Marilyn Wightman, August 4, 1961 in the Salt Lake Temple. They spent 34 years of happiness and love together. He married Laurel Harper in the Logan LDS Temple, July 8, 1939. She passed away January 8, 1961.Dad will be remembered as a man of service and a man of love. He was a very active member of the LDS Church, serving two missions. Most recently he proudly served as a member of the High Council of the East Millcreek North Stake. He was especially fond of missionary work, preaching the gospel to the very end. He loved his family a great deal and was actively involved in all of their lives. He loved the outdoors and could often be found working in his garden. In his younger years he spent a great deal of time in the mountains, he especially loved the High Uintahs. He was the ultimate Boy Scout spending many years as a scoutmaster in the Garden Park Ward, and the East Millcreek 1st Ward. He was an Eagle Scout and wore that uniform proudly. He always found time to go to activities of his children, or grandchildren, he loved them all a great deal.

He attended the University of Utah, the University of Oregon, and New York University, where he earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Dad spent much of his life working for Beehive Clothing Mills. Most recently he was owner and tour director of Fun Time Tours, a family operated business he built from the ground up, a business Dad loved.

He is survived by his stalwart loving wife, Marilyn Wightman; daughter, Vicki (Dennis) Grob; sons, Steven Hawke, Richard W. (Christine) Webb, Randy D. (Peggy) Hawke, W. Michael (Angela) Webb, David W. (Melodie) Webb; a sister Mrs Margaret (Homer) Wade; two brothers, Vergil M. (Marian) Webb, and Morris (Blanche) Webb. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister, Vidella Nelson (Edward) and brother, Odell ("Sammie") Webb.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the East Millcreek 1st Ward Chapel, 2700 East and Evergreen Avenue. Friends and family may call Sunday, July 2, 1995 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and Monday at the ward in the Relief Society Room from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

Wilbur George Webb will be forever loved.
