B. LaRae Orullian, a native Salt Laker and national volunteer president of the Girl Scouts, will be an honored guest at the East Mill Creek Fourth of July celebration.

Sharon Stetz, Utah Girl Scout Council executive director, and 50 local Girl Scouts carrying flags representing each state, will accompany Orullian in the parade, which begins at 9 a.m. at 2700 E. Evergreen Ave. and will conclude at Evergreen Park, 2330 E. 3425 South.Orullian has been a member of the Girl Scouting board since 1981, has been first vice president and treasurer, has chaired the executive and audit committees and served on the finance committee.
