Leona Sorenson Jensen, age 61, died July 4, 1995, in Gunnison.
Born to Leo Andrew and Alta LaFon James Sorenson on January 6, 1934 in Gunnison Utah. Married Ellis Lee Jensen June 3, 1955. Graduated Gunnison Valley High and attended BYU. Member of the LDS Church, she worked as Relief Society secretary for over 13 years.Loving wife, mother and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her husband, Ellis Lee Jensen; sons, Roger (Kaylynn) Jensen, West Jordan; Ronnie (Yvonne) Jensen, West Valley; Roy Jensen, Salt Lake; grandsons, Scott and Shaun Jensen; father, Leo Andrew Sorenson; and brother, Bobbie (Verda) Sorenson.
Funeral services 12 noon, Saturday, at the Rose Park North Stake South Chapel, 11th North 1200 West, where friends may call two hours prior. Burial, Gunnison City Cemetery. Warren Jensen Funeral Home in Salina directing.
