Standard & Poor's Ratings Group raised CommNet Cellular's corporate credit rating because of the company's "strong position in the rural cellular phone market," Inc. Magazine listed the company as the 13th fastest growing small public company in the country and RCR, a cellular trade magazine, listed the company as one of the top 20 cellular companies in the nation.Arnold C. Pohs, chairman, president and chief executive officer, said CommNet Cellular built a record cell 101 sites in 1994 and this year plans to build an additional 100 sites.
