Antonio Mascarenas, age 65, died August 11, 1995, at the Cottonwood Hospital in Murray.
Born July 14, 1930, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, the son of Fredelino and Elisia Armijo Mascarenas. Married Bernice Crespin Montoya September 4, 1965, in Las Vegas, Nevada.Member of the Catholic Church. Longtime resident of Helper. Member Brotherhood of Maintenance. Worked 43 years with D.&.R.G.W. in Helper prior to retirement in 1990. Former member of Helper Lions Club. An avid fisherman, hunter and gardner. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survived by wife, Bernice Mascarenas of Helper; three daughters, three sons and spouses, Beckey and Michael Bragdon of Ogden, Pat Montoya of Salt Lake City, Toni Marie Mascarenas of Helper, Ben and Shelley Montoya of Alpine, Lou Montoya of Cedar City, LeRoy and Donna Mascarenas of Farmington, New Mexico; 11 grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Paul, Ignacio, Salvador, Tina, Florence.
Preceded in death by sister, Viola Gallegos, and step-brother, Dave Archibeque.
Funeral mass Thursday, August 17, 1995, 10 a.m, St. Anthony Catholic Church. Vigil service Wednesday evening, 7 p.m. at Mitchell Chapel. Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery in Helper.
