DEATH: CHERYL GARST DAVIS

Cheryl Renee Garst Davis, age 30, of American Fork, died Aug. 12, 1995 at her home.

She was born Aug. 13, 1964 in Wilmington, North Carolina, the daughter of Keith Tate and Shirley Byrd Garst. Married Lloyd Charles Davis, May 17, 1984 in Provo, Utah. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; they were later divorced. She graduated from North Brunswick High School in Leland, North Carolina in 1982 and later attended BYU and cosmetology school in Provo. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and cross-stitch. She also loved reading, writing, collected old books and music. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family.Survived by her sons, Derrick, Daniel, and Samuel Davis, all of Lehi; her parents of Leland, North Carolina; two sisters, Tammy Skipper, Columbia, South Carolina; and Eva Vontz, Wilmington, North Carolina.

Funeral Friday, August 18, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork LDS Stake Center, 240 So. Center St. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the church in American Fork Friday one hour prior to services. Burial: Lehi City Cemetery.
