Our dear husband, father, grandfather, son and friend, David Lee Bovee passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 1995, in South Jordan, Utah, following a gallant battle with a brain tumor.

David was born on May 29, 1947 to William Robert and Dorothy Lea Miller Bovee in Miles City, Montana. He attended Opheim, Glasgow, Scobey and East Helena elementary schools, and graduated from Helena High School in 1965. He went on to graduate as a Mining Engineer from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in Butte, Montana.He married Theresa Lee Frasier on March 23, 1968 in Couer d' Alene, Idaho. She preceded him in death on February 3, 1990. David married LuAnn Groves on May 2, 1992 in Shelley, Idaho.

Dave was the owner and president of his company, Centennial Development Co. and was well known in the mining industry as an intelligent and hard-working individual with many admirable qualities. Dave also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horse shoeing.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnn; son and daughter-in-law, Blaine Lee and Aimee C. Bovee, Riverton; daughter, Veronica Lee Bovee, Hawthorne, Nev.; father, Robert and mother, Dorothy Bovee, East Helena, Mont.; grandchild, Marresa Elee Bovee, Riverton; brother, Rodger and wife, Rena Bovee, Belgrade, Mont.; and brother, Greg and his wife, Kathy Bovee; Jefferson City, Mont.; and sister, Judy and her husband, Ed Seimers, East Helena, Mont.; and LuAnns four sons, Blake, Blandon, Blair, and Blaine.

The Bovee family expressed gratitude to the doctors, nurses and loving friends and neighbors who compassionately cared for David.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 1995, at 3 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12590 South 2200 West, Riverton, where friends may call one and a half hours prior to the services. Services will be held prior to interment, in East Helena, Montana.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in David's name to the American Cancer Assoc., Utah Affiliate.
