Calvin Trillin is taking his dry wit back to Time.

The humorist, who worked at Time from 1960-63 before joining The New Yorker, will write a column for the newsmagazine starting in February."There's no commentator sharper or more amusing than Calvin Trillin," Time managing editor Walter Isaacson said Sunday. "I'm delighted he's bringing his wry outlook to the pages of Time."

Trillin, 60, will continue as a staff writer for The New Yorker. He also writes humorous poetry for The Nation and since 1986 has written a syndicated column.
